For my level of use, it comes down to software differences. I use Premiere Pro, and have been doing so since 2001. To make the switch to Final Cut HD would be expensive and time consuming. I think if I had the money, I wouldn't mind investing in a Mac. But its just a bit too pricey for me to go for it, for now anyway... One guy works with making documentaries for ESPN, another guy just graduated from USC film school.
